Pauliina Mäkelä’s and Kate Stone’s first joint exhibition – In Between Shadows – blurs the line between the real and the imaginary. The artworks build on a threshold of uncertainty where the visible and invisible intertwine forming a weightless and contemplative space. Reflections, light and shadows are in a constant state of flux creating a transformative and uncanny stage. The works consist of moving images made using analogue methods, as well as installations and drawings. The exhibition is a collaboration with the philosophers of the HARMAA project.
